Adam Staudacher, whose onstage moniker is SiLLYiLL, was introduced to music playing trumpet from the 4th grade, but a spark was lit when at age 12 he found an acoustic guitar under his parents bed. Adam had a second epiphany when during his junior year of college he received the beatmaking software, Fruity Loops, and later Reason from a friend. Adam spent the majority of the next four years making beats and producing underground hip hop in Hartford, CT. Around 2005 Adam met Microdahts and joined their live DJ and hip hop show as a backup MC and producer / live DJ. The band relocated to Chattanooga TN in 2006 and reformed as a live band with Adam on bass guitar. It was in this configuration that the band added vocalist and trumpet player Bexy Ribeiro, and the two would form an immediate musical friendship. Microdahts ended, and Bexy and Adam formed Digital Butter with Adam running live beats, keys, bass, and rhymes and Bexy on live vocals, percussion, keys, and samples. The duo released their first album, "I Can't Believe It's Not Analog Butter!" in 2009. When not touring with Digital Butter, Adam still records local hip-hop artists and produces solo beats and mixtapes as well.
